We are so sure that we can confidently offer you a guarantee that if you
don't like what we produce for you, you pay nothing. That's right - if
you don't like the web site that we create for you, you will incur no cost.
Our web site development process consists of the following seven steps:
information gathering
prototype design
design revisions
customer sign-off on prototype
full implementation
deployment
During the first step, we ask you questions about your business: who are your customers? What do you want your web site to communicate? What makes your business unique within your market?
Based on the information gathered in the first step, we create a prototype design of your web site, including graphics and navigational elements. In the third step, we revise that prototype based on your review of the prototype and the feedback that you provide.
If you like the design we created, both with respect to graphics and navigation of the web site, then we ask that you sign-off on the design before we proceed with construction of all the web pages. At this point, all the real design work is done and you will know what the final web site will look like.
However, if you decide that the web site is not what you want and you don't think another round of revisions will produce a web site that you are happy with, then you are free to cancel the project and owe us nothing. Any down payments you have made will be refunded in full. All information gathering documents, design elements and web pages remain the property of HOTT.
If you do sign-off on the design, we will construct the remaining pages based on the content you provide and the design we created. Following construction of the web pages, we deploy the web site on the Internet and you are open for business.

If you are guaranteeing that I will be happy with the web site you create or I pay nothing, why do you require a down payment up front?
We require a down payment from customers to make sure customers are serious about having a web site created. If we were to offer this guarantee and not require a down payment up front, then we would attract customers who are looking for free design work. It is an unfortunate reality of the business we are in. If you decide that you do not like the web site we design for you and choose to not sign-off on the design, your down payment will be refunded to you in its entirety.
What if I don't like what is produced after sign-off?
The work that is done after sign-off is to simply build web pages that look exactly like the design prototype. There will be no difference between what you see after sign-off and what you see before sign-off. If you change your mind after sign-off about the design and would like to revise the design in some way, we will be happy to provide a quote for that work.
